Q. What are your writing inspirations?
A. I like to
people watch. From the everyday happenings to unusual conversations are
the sparks needed to get my dialogue going between characters.
Q. How do you come
up with your ideas?
A. Unfortunately,
nightmares are a frequent occurrence as of late yet there is nothing rawer and
out of the norm than dreams. A thought will totally catch me off guard
during one of my insomnia episodes or in between my morning trips to the
restroom in the wee hours of the morning.
Q. Are any of your characters a thinly veiled representation of
yourself?
A. Yes, to a degree. If it is not obvious to someone who is
reading my work, then I've done a great job. This is usually ill-advised
of professional writers NOT to include an author’s persona within his or her
characters. I feel that if I can convince a reader that they are reading
about the character and not me, then I must be doing an awesome job as a writer.
